The Legal Secretary element of the role involves supporting the firm’s fee earners with administrative duties including typing, processing post and digital filing in our paperless office. A good attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to the understand systems and procedures are needed.
This member of the team will work in the reception area of our office so they can perform the second element of the role – that of Receptionist. As a Receptionist, you will be the first contact for most of our visitors and you’ll also be the first to answer the phone. A warm, friendly and energetic manner is essential, as is a suitably well-presented appearance.
We work as a supportive team at Carreg Law, so you’ll have the backup of everyone at those busy moments when you’re being pulled in three directions at once!

Term: 6 months
Salary: £15,000-17,000 for 30 hours/week
Days & hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm (30 hours a week). No weekends.
However, we are open to negotiation on both number of weekly hours and working hours if you have other commitments you need to work around (salary amended accordingly).
Annual leave: 17.6 days for a 30 hour contract (22 days FTE) + bank holidays
